This ultimately bespoke sign is what is termed a ‘tray’, but is constructed entirely from aluminium composite, a tough substrate material.

Not every sign that you see or that we produce is just a bit of flat aluminium composite – here you can see that functionality also plays a big part in some signage.
This particular bespoke signage has a variety of different sign types involved, with the wide format printed vinyl background on an aluminium composite backboard, the clipframes that holds the various bits of A4 paper, and the perspex A4 holders along the bottom including the perspex lockbox, all of which are highly bespoke.
The sign itself is mounted onto the wall using heavy-duty aluminium locators.

This polished acrylic sign, a type of bespoke sign. Utilising several methods of construction, this is primarily built using vinyl, cut to fit perfectly.
There is one or two elements of wide format printing in the sign, specifically for one or two of the logos but it is minimal.

It is very tempting to say that this is an educational or university sign; it is, but more importantly it is a style of sign that we call a polished acrylic sign. This is a prestige style of sign, a sign that is designed and created to impress.
This particular polished acrylic sign is designed to do more than to impress – it tells the viewer what services are available in the Student Centre where the sign is installed.

Many signs, those that are at the forefront of the boundary between the public and a business, have to make an impact or a statement, as well as convey information contained on them. The image shows one such bespoke sign that is in the final stages of installation.
