This is an interesting bespoke sign because we don’t use a great amount of mirrored vinyl, but when we do it looks really good, very impressive.
The aluminium plate is used as a solid backdrop for the dark grey vinyl that holds the relief cut letters.
The mirrored vinyl itself has to be treated carefully, and applied with some degree of skill. The result truly is a bespoke sign.

Wayfinding Sign 46
There are many kinds of wayfinding sign and the large majority of those placed inside as directories are created using replaceable slatz that can be moved around as needed.
This is the same kind of wayfinding sign but as you can see, it is all one piece. The vinyl lettering is the heart of the wayfinding aspect of the sign.
The sign itself is fixed to the wall using sturdy but simple aluminium locators.

Frosted Vinyl 57
Here is a great material that has SO many uses. In this case as you can see there are several elements of style that are used, to create an overall effect that is highly functional.
The first is the clearly visible writing, cut out of the frosted vinyl indicating where you are (although that might be obvious). The second is the style and shape of the frosted vinyl itself, the gentle curving and inline cut-out border reminiscent of Westerns and hotels in the frontier towns.
In this particular case the frosted vinyl has been reverse cut and applied on the other side of the door, perhaps for security purposes to prevent the vinyl from being subjected to the elements?
Clearly this sign is for the Louth Indoor Bowling Club.

Polished Acrylic Sign 55
There are many signs that we can label as ‘elegant’ but here is one that really epitomizes that word.
Clearly meant to be more than just a mere wayfinding sign, this polished acrylic sign conveys more than information, but reaches into the elevated realms of art.
Although it is commemorating an event it stands out on its own, mostly due to the imagery provided but also on its own merits.

Profile Sign 36
Profile signs, or cut out letters as they are also known (you can see clearly why in this image), are found all over the place and are a very good way of advertising a site from a distance.
In this case though, the profile sign has been used internally along with a more innovative use of this sign type – by combining the standard profile sign with vinyl and cut out arrows, this entire sign is now an effective wayfinding sign.
The entire view is dominating but informative, easy to read, and easy to understand.

Safety Sign 42
Many of the symbols we see today on safety signs are ones we’ve grown up with, or know from our own work premises (such as this one here). They are ubiquitous in today’s society, but without safety signs there might be a lot more people injured or killed.
They’re not all the same of course, and come in a bewildering array of sizes, styles, types, colours and so on. This one is made from a non-rigid material which then has all of the vinyl text and lettering added for the writing and design.
A great thing about this material is that it can be fixed almost anywhere, and the safety sign needs to do just that, go almost anywhere (we go).

Wayfinding Sign 44
Like many kinds of signs, wayfinding signs come in all shapes and sizes. Some are plain and simple with just one or two directions, others like this one are complex and compact, holding a lot of information.
The aim of course is to make it clear to someone who is lost, how to find where they are going. That’s not always easy, but with directories like this, with clearly defined floors, it makes it a little easier.
You can also see that in this case, text is enhanced with symbols.

Wide Format Printed Sign 54
Using wide format printed vinyl placed over a solid 11g aluminium panel this one sign (made of two separate aluminium signs) is going to last many years.
The face has an extra layer of vinyl on the top to help protect it from the elements.
The sign is fixed in place by using two aluminium poles that are concreted into the ground.
