Not all signs can be glamorous or shiny, many signs are straightforward and functional and here is one bespoke sign that fits that last bill. It’s a lockable cabinet which contains valuable information to those who use the Meridian Leisure Center.
The backing for the lockable cabinet is achieved using aluminium composite with a wide format printed vinyl on top (for the swish pattern among other things).
It is usable and easy to clean, functional and not obtrusive, perfect for the job.

Banner Sign 7
Banners are not just pieces of canvas that are hung across a street for a party, or to advertise something the local charity organisation is doing. They come in a wide variety of forms, methods of manufacture, and materials.
This banner sign you can see here is clearly a vertically hung banner, held in position by a lightweight high-strength aluminium frame. They could theoretically go much larger than this, but then the effect of the banner might be lost.
The pattern is achieved through wide format printing directly onto the banner material.

There are of course many different kinds of signs, all different kinds of shapes, sizes, colours, and there are a lot of designs that can go into a sign. This is a college sign that displays several different logos that they are clearly, and rightfully, proud of. The first is the school logo, there is also one in the bottom right displaying what the school is for, and there is the Ofsted logo in the bottom left.

A local business that has a location in nearby Lincoln, Spinning Wheel, has had this set of bespoke signs created for its shopfront. Created using aluminium composite they are covered in wide format printed vinyl that has had an extra layer of protective vinyl placed on top. These signs will last many years.
The bespoke nature of these signs is clear because they are unlike other signs, they are circular for one thing, and the hanging sign is not a common occurrence.

Wayfinding Sign 42
Well there is no better name for a wayfinding sign than the one that you see here – Willerby Hill Site Plan. It’s straightforward about its purpose.
The design of the map is very clear and concise, with the NHS Trust’s buildings in blue, the prohibition of parking on the main road in red (as are all prohibition signs or notices) and then also on the bottom of the sign there is a small section for directional wayfinding to direct people to specific locations.
The sign itself is constructed using 11g aluminium and the sign face is created using wide format printing.

Banner Sign 7
Here is a good picture to show the versatility of banners. This one has been tied to two signposts of a previous sign that we have designed and created.
Being made from a flexible canvas-type material the banner can be placed almost anywhere: wrapped around lampposts, strung between two signposts as here, placed on a iron fence, and many more places.
The design face is created using wide format printing, printing the design directly onto the canvas material.
