Fitting Sign 32
We work hard for our safety record, and sometimes fitting signs can be a challenge especially in areas where people are still walking and moving around. Times can be demanding so that signs must be fitted before people start work, or in this case here, in a place that is difficult to get to.
The scaffolding is erected carefully, avoiding damage to the area, but with safety in mind. Other pictures from this series show the scaffolding being put up and from other directions but this picture shows it in situ when the job has been finished and the vertical profile sign is in place.
Notice that the area immediately around the scaffolding is marked off with tape and bollards, to ensure passers-by do not hit the scaffolding or injure themselves, or put themselves in any danger.
This style of sign belongs to the fitting category. Click on that link to see more kinds of articles like this one.
